Music producer and keyboardist, graduated from the Music Engineering department of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music. Drawn to game music and pop writing. Works across fusion jazz, orchestral and electronic music, with a deep grounding in composition, arrangement, scoring and contemporary keyboard performance. Extensive hands-on experience across full-cycle game audio production, live music solutions and artist songs.

Graduated from the Music Engineering department of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music and currently studying for a Master's in Film Scoring at New York University. Composer, arranger and vocalist, with experience in film and game scoring, song arrangement, harmony writing and music production. Comfortable blending orchestral, electronic and jazz writing, and able to shift direction to suit a project.

Projects:

Game scoring and theme songs: contributed to game scores and wrote the theme for the indie game Clio and the Law of Time.

Song arrangement: arranged “Sea Monster” for the singer Ma Lajiao Ye Yong Quan's original album.

Other work: short film scores, musical theatre song arrangement, and original music production.

Specialisms: composition, arrangement, film and game scoring, song arrangement, harmony writing, vocals.

Specialises in electronic music production, with years of arranging and composing experience. Tracks have been released by Chinese labels and doujin music circles including AzureAbove and Shenyou Neuromancer.

Xichen Liu studies in the Music Engineering department of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, under Professor Ji Dongyong. His production style runs to Indie R&B, rock, jazz, riddim dubstep, deep/bass house and hard groove. As an independent indie-R&B arranger, writer and vocalist, his releases carry a deliberately raw, indie texture — among them “lost”, “Utopia.”, “god” and “Redtide”.
